The exhibit’s opening reception takes place on Friday, April 6, from 6 – 8 pm. It is part of North Bay’s Downtown Gallery Hop, which runs from 7 – 9:30 pm. -

Dave Marshall Leadership AwardMy NipissingCangiano has presented research at both national and international academic conferences, including the 2017 Undergraduate Research Conference, the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, and the Canadian Anthropology Society Conference, and has recently had an abstract of her thesis accepted to be presented at the Society for Applied Anthropology/Canadian Anthropology Society, an international conference to be held in Cuba this spring. -

My NipissingNear North Voices – North Bay’s University-Community Choir, has a busy few weeks ahead of them. With choristers returning this week from a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City, the choir will sing live on CBC’s Morning North on Friday, March 23, as they broadcast from the North Bay YMCA as part of the CBC’s 40th anniversary.
