Register now for NU Reads Summer Camp

NU Reads Summer Literacy Day Camp is set to open the book on another fantastic summer of nurturing a love of literacy in children through read alouds and one-on-one discussions and activities.
The camp incorporates all aspects of literacy: reading, writing, representing, viewing, listening and speaking. Organizers strive to set themes of an open-ended nature that illustrate how literacy is all around us, and can be both fun and educational.

The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily from July 10 to August 18, with a different theme each week.  It is geared to children aged 4 – 12.  The cost is $175 per week (or $150 for a four-day camp following the long weekend).  Children can sign up for one week, or all five weeks.
