Dr. Thomas Ryan, professor in the Schulich School of Education, is currently serving as a Book Series Curator with Common Ground Publishing.

The focus of this text is on the essence of “story,” as it relates to the experiences of physicists and physics educators at the tertiary level. The contributors present their perspectives and research findings both within and outside the lines of traditional frameworks whereby their story infuses context, events and experience; the intention is to present a number of perspectives of the work roles of physics educators and researchers within post-secondary education.
