Lots of news and signings for Lakers Athletics

The Nipissing Lakers have not let the conclusion of the regular season slow them down. There have been numerous signings lately in basketball, hockey, volleyball and soccer; plus news on the Lacrosse team, and a soccer tourney.
The Lakers men’s hockey team just inked a pair of big brothers, Jimmy and Jacob McDowell, from Michigan.  Jimmy represents the highest scoring player from the OHL the Lakers have signed.  They also beefed up the blueline, recently adding Sam Gleason.

In Men’s basketball, coach Chris Cheng, is building a winning program, having signed defensive specialist Malik Philips, as well as shooting guard, Jake Rudell-Hunter; and forward Ismael Kaba.

The Lacrosse team officially signed their first player since they were accepted to CUFLA.
