Part-Time Caretaker

Part-time Support Staff (up to 24 hrs/week)

Reporting to the Caretaker Supervisor, the Part-time Caretaker is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the interior and the exterior of various Nipissing University buildings and surrounding grounds/area. 

The Part-time Caretaker will be required to work up to 24 hours a week.  The hours of work may rotate and be flexible depending on the needs of the department.  The Caretaker will be notified in advance of any changes to the regularly scheduled shifts as outlined in Article 22.02 of the collective agreement.

A comprehensive group benefits and pension plan is offered, as well as a tuition subsidy for eligible dependents. 

The successful candidate will possess a grade 12 Diploma, combined with a minimum of one year of relevant work experience. The successful candidate must provide a negative Criminal Record Check before the employment start date (i.e. not been convicted of a criminal offence for which a pardon has not been granted).
