Duties:

  • Responsible for all instruction and evaluation for the portion of the course to which they are assigned
  • Will be available to meet with students outside of the official classroom time
  • Complete mandatory training requirements, review and follow Nipissing University's policies and procedures

Qualifications:

For applicants interested in the Administration stream: Near completion or completion of a PhD with an emphasis in general business administration/management area or business related field. An MBA or equivalent master’s degree in business administration/management area or business related field. A successful track record of teaching post-secondary general management courses. Relevant professional industry experience and/or a professional designation would be an added advantage.

For applicants interested in the Finance stream: A terminal degree in the Finance area such as an MBA or equivalent master’s degree. A professional designation such as a CFA, CPA or equivalent. A successful track record of teaching post-secondary finance courses. Relevant professional industry experience would be an added advantage.

For applicants interested in the Marketing stream: Near completion or completion of a PhD with an emphasis in Marketing or business related field. An MBA or equivalent master’s degree in marketing area or business related field. A successful track record of teaching post-secondary marketing courses. Relevant professional industry experience and/or a professional designation would be an added advantage.

For applicants interested in the Organizational Studies stream: Near completion or completion of a PhD with an emphasis in Organizational Studies or business related field. An MBA or equivalent master’s degree in Organizational Studies, Human Resources or business related field. A professional designation such as the CHRP or CHRL designation would be considered an asset. A successful track record of teaching post-secondary courses. Relevant professional industry experience and/or a professional designation would be an added advantage.

For applicants interested in the Technology Management stream: Near completion or completion of a PhD with an emphasis in Technology Management. An MBA or equivalent master’s degree in business related field. A successful track record of teaching post-secondary general management courses. Relevant professional industry experience and/or a professional designation would be an added advantage.
