Returning Student Checklist
Follow the checklist below for essential items that you should ensure are in place when you begin your studies every term:
New for 2023 - Returning Students with permanent accommodations can request their accommodation letters through the Clockwork Portal.
- If you are not able to request your accommodations through the "Accommodations - Review and Confirm" section of the portal, use the "book an appointment" option instead to schedule a meeting with your Accessibility Consultant.
- It is necessary that you connect with your Accessibility Consultant to update or make any changes needed to your accommodation plan.
- Apply for OSAP and check off that you are a student with a disability.
- Make the appropriate arrangements with the Adaptive Technology Technician to ensure all technology is in place before classes commence.
- If you require textbooks in an alternate format, complete the Textbook Request Form as soon as your books have been listed. Booklists can be found on the bookstore’s website. It is important you request your textbooks in an alternate format as early as possible as there can be a delay in obtaining the alternate format version of the textbook from the publisher.
- Consider introducing yourself to your professor(s) in person or over email during the first weeks of the term.
