Nipissing University mourns death of student in Bracebridge

To all members of the Nipissing University community:It is with great sadness that I am writing to advise you of the death of one of our students, Lindsay Wilson, in an off-campus incident that occurred on Friday, in Bracebridge. Lindsay was a fourth-year student in the Child and Family Studies program at our Muskoka Campus.
On behalf of the University, I offer my sincere sympathies to Lindsay's family and friends. Our thoughts are with each of you who knew, worked with, taught and were friends with Lindsay.
At this difficult time, I would like to remind you that counselling services are available:Counsellors are available at the Muskoka Campus to support our students as we work through this tragedy. We are currently working to ensure flexibility for our Muskoka campus students with respect to end of semester classes, assignments and exams. More details will be shared through the Office of the Vice?President, Academic and Research Services.
