MELD provides students hands-on camp experience

Nipissing University’s Centre for Flexible Teaching and Learning is running a two week summer camp for senior high school students here in North Bay in partnership with the Trillium Lakelands District School Board.Named the Mobile Experiential Leadership Development (MELD) camp, it provides students a senior social sciences credit and, should they choose to attend Nipissing University, credits for the University Success (UNIV 1011) course.
MELD camp features outdoor and experientially-based activity. Each camper is supplied with an iPad to support the more academic components of the camp.
MELD runs July 7 – 20. Cost is $1,700 and includes accommodation, food, and all excursions.
