Common Book 2013-14 revealed

The final votes are in the other books have conceded victory to Speaking My Truth as the read of choice for Nipissing University’s Common Book Common Ground 2013-14 program.
Speaking My Truth: Reflections on Reconciliation and Residential School, edited by Shelagh Rogers, Mike DeGagné, and Jonathan Dewar, captured 61 percent of the total 247 votes cast. World War Z: an Oral History of the Zombie War, by Max Brooks, received 71 votes; and The Fault in Our Stars, by John Green, received 24 votes.

A total of 117 students voted, as well as 70 staff member s and 60 faculty members.
