Nursing prof earns Fellowship to develop educational best practices
ConferenceSchool of NursingKathryn Ewers, Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing, has earned a $13,000 Advanced Clinical Practice Fellowship from the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) to develop expert knowledge of educational best practices to implement into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Curriculum. -

Indigenous InitiativesNipissing’s Office of Indigenous Initiatives is inviting Indigenous students new to Nipissing University and Canadore College, as well as their children, parents, caregivers and family members, to a free family fun two-day tour of the campus and community. The event is an opportunity for Indigenous students to discover what the community has to offer and have fun with their family, while helping to prepare them for the newest chapter in their educational journey. -

Business students explore sustainability in Finland
Ten students from Nipissing University's School of Business recently embarked on a transformative expedition to Finland, as part of the ADMN 3336-Special Projects (iLEAD) course. Funded by Global Skill Opportunity - Transcultural Interdisciplinary Learning Experiences (GSO-TILE), this three-credit course allowed students to explore sustainability in the world's happiest country, as ranked by the 2024 World Happiness Report.
