DeGagné reappointed Nipissing University President
AlumniMy NipissingDr. Mike DeGagné has been reappointed as President and Vice-Chancellor of Nipissing University. DeGagné was reappointed as Nipissing’s president in a special meeting of the university’s Board of Governors on December 7 following the recommendation of the Reappointment Committee for the President and Vice-Chancellor. He will begin his second consecutive five-year term on January 1, 2018. -

Third Annual Amnesty Nipissing Write for Rights Event
My NipissingThis is the third time this event has been held at Nipissing. In each of the previous Write for Rights events, over 50 letters were written by students, staff and faculty in support of prisoners unjustly jailed and subject to torture. -
NU launches silver celebrations

Ricker Collection Exhibition celebrates work of renowned photographer, educator
On September 20, Nipissing University celebrated the opening of the Ricker Collection exhibition at the NUSU Reflection Gallery. The exhibition, which opened to widespread enthusiasm, celebrates the life and work of Harry Ricker (1872 – 1952), a renowned naturalist, photographer, and educator who left a lasting impact on both North Bay's history and its education system.
