Instructional Hours Per Week: 4 hours/week

  • PHED-1224 - Dance 10/01/24 to 11/04/24 Mondays and Wednesdays 11:00AM 12:50PM
  • PHED-1224 - Dance 11/05/24 to 12/02/24 Mondays and Wednesdays 11:00AM 12:50PM
     
  • PHED-3224 - Dance II 11/05/24 to 12/06/24 Mondays and Wednesdays 5:00pm-6:50pm

Duties:

  • Responsible for all instruction and evaluation for the portion of the course to which they are assigned
  • Will be available to meet with students outside of the official classroom time
  • Complete mandatory training requirements, review and follow Nipissing University's policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Minimum university undergraduate degree;
  • Preference given to applicants who have graduated with a performing arts, physical education, kinesiology, or related degree.
  • Formal dance instructor training is an asset.
  • Demonstrated history of teaching movement skills and formal dance across a variety of styles to youth/adults.
