In a private awards ceremony on Thursday, September 21, 2023 the Nipissing University Alumni Advisory Board (NUAAB) will officially recognize the achievements of five outstanding alumni during its annual Alumni Awards celebration.

The Nipissing University Student Union (NUSU), Nipissing University and Sodexo are pleased to announce the upcoming grand opening of the highly anticipated On The Rocks nightclub located within the NUSU Student Centre (221 College Drive).

Growing up in Northern Ontario, Tegan McWhirter developed a passion for the outdoors. While pursuing her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Environmental Science at Queen’s University, Tegan worked for the Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Services (AFFES) division of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry as a Wildland Fire Fighter on the Type I (initial attack) crew.
