Bill 132, the Sexual Violence and Harassment Action Plan Act, expands our duties as an employer to investigate and address incidents of workplace sexual harassment. Accordingly, Nipissing University has updated the Respectful Workplace and Harassment Prevention Policy and Workplace Violence Prevention Policy.
These amendments also identify mandatory training requirements for employees. Accordingly, a mandatory training module has been created for all Nipissing University employees.
