October marks National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), and we are pleased to announce a special event at Northgate Shopping Centre to celebrate this important initiative. We invite local agencies, businesses, and community members to join us in the main square at the mall, to promote inclusion and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This event will feature a variety of organizations dedicated to fostering a more inclusive workforce, providing attendees with the opportunity to engage directly, share resources, and discuss innovative strategies for creating accessible workplaces and communities.

Additionally, we are excited to share that Pat Lynch, Manager of Motion North Bay, has generously donated LED lights for businesses interested in supporting NDEAM by lighting up their storefronts on October 17, available while supplies last. Attendees will also have access to free mobility aid tune-ups provided by Motion technicians, ensuring that individuals relying on assistive devices can benefit from essential maintenance and support. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in promoting inclusion and accessibility for all.
