16 Days of Activism: Evening with @ResilientInuk

Join the Office of Indigenous Initiatives and the Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Outreach team for an evening with @ResilientInuk, Vanessa Brosseau. Vanessa shares her missing sister Pamela’s story on her verified Tik Tok account, “Resilient Inuk,” where she has over 118,000 followers and over 2.6 million likes. Vanessa has made it her mission to create awareness about Indigenous issues that still affect us today. Join us to hear her story and learn how she uses her platform to educate about Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit people (#MMIWG2S) and share her perspectives as an Indigenous woman.

This hybrid presentation and live Q&A will take place in person in the Nipissing Theatre (F214), with light refreshments provided and online for virtual attendees via Zoom.
