On-line Course Access Information

 

Nipissing now uses Blackboard CE (formerly WebCT CE v.6) for its online course delivery.

Can't get into your course?

Accessing your online courses uses different login information than both WebAdvisor and Nipissing e-mail.

The login syntax for online courses is as follows:

User ID = your Nipissing student ID number MINUS any preceding zeros

Password = the User ID number PLUS the first three (3) letters of your last name - all lowercase - added to the end

Don't know your Nipissing student ID?

The Nipissing WebAdvisor web site allows you to search for your Nipissing Student ID number. Once the WebAdvisor home page loads:

  1. Click on the Students button to go to the Students Menu page.

  2. Under User Accounts, click the link What's my User ID?

  3. Provide BOTH your first and last names and your e-mail address and then Submit.

If WebAdvisor does not provide a student ID number for you, then call the Registrar's Office, 1-705-474-3450, x. 4521, or e-mail registrar@nipissingu.ca.

Are you an AQ student taking an online course?

AQ courses delivered online are not populated with students until after a session's registration period has closed. For this reason, student logins will not work until one to two (calendar) days before the start date.
